The load, not a menu
Man and van work in Halifax is for a smaller load than a whole house. The price still is not a standard figure. Two sofas and ten boxes from a ground floor are not the same job as a room of furniture from a top-floor flat in Siddal. We will not print a price list that pretends they are.
Read man and van removals for what the service includes. If every room is going, use house removals instead.
What moves the quote
Volume comes first. Name the large pieces, not only the boxes. Stairs and the walk from the van come next. A legal stop on a steep street can be further from the door than people expect. Distance is third: across Boothtown is not the same as a drop in another part of the UK. Waiting is fourth. If we cannot get in, the time still counts. Say if you will help load or if you want the crew to do it all.
What we will not do
We will not quote from a bedroom count alone, and we will not add a figure in this article. Insurance is provided. Ask us what is covered when you book. Call 01422747860 or get a free quote with photos if you have them.
